The Ball State Family Weekend Tradition will start at 9:00 and for those not yet signed up, we still have spots! We will take walk up registrations from 7:15-8:45. It is sure to be a great day. Come run a great 5K and then hit the stands to cheer on the Cardinals (2-1, 1-0 MAC) take on the Black Knights of Army!

5K Run | Walk | Roll Presented by Army ROTC (September 24, 9:00 a.m.)
The 5K is a race for all ages open to runners, walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers (no bicycles). The 5K (3.1 mile) course begins at the Alumni Center, strolls through campus, and ends on the field at Scheumann Stadium. A map and specific directions will be provided on race day. Light refreshments and awards will be distributed after the race at the Picnic Shelter in Benadum Woods (north side Scheumann Stadium).
Chip timing will be used to score the 5K race. All runners must attach the Chip as instructed in order to be timed and eligible for any awards. Awards will be distributed to the top racers in the following male and female divisions: 18 & younger, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up, and wheelchair.
All pre-registrants (deadline September 18) are guaranteed a t-shirt. The first 300 registrants will receive a ticket to the Ball State vs. Army football game (Ball State students will not receive a ticket as they have free admission to the game with their Student ID card). Day-of registrants will receive t-shirts and game tickets on a first come, first served basis.
Race day check-in for 5K participants begins at 7:15 a.m. and ends at 8:45 a.m. inside the Alumni Center. Parking is available in the north end of the lot on the northwest side of Scheumann Stadium (enter off Bethel). All cars must be removed from this lot no later than 11:00 a.m. Cars may be parked for the day in the lot adjacent to Cardinal Creek Tennis Courts (free) or the lot next to Ball Baseball Diamond ($5).
