Our Mission
The mission of the Chase Charlie Races is three-fold:
1. Create a unique and quality series of races that compliments other activities occurring on campus during Ball State University’s annual Family Weekend.
2. Provide undergraduate students with a valuable immersive learning opportunity that financially benefits the Sport Administration Fund for Excellence, which provides scholarship and professional development opportunities for high achieving sport administration students.
3. Educate and prepare children in Muncie for a lifetime of healthy living.
Event Organization
The Chase Charlie Races are an experiential learning project organized by the SPTAD 402 Sport Event Management class taught by Dr. David Pierce in the undergraduate Sport Administration Program.
