The Ball State University Sport Administration Club operates after-school running and fitness programs in Muncie-area elementary schools. During the fall semester students organize the after-school program at Burris Elementary School in prepration for students participating in the Mile Mania Race. In the spring semester students organize an after-school program at Cowan Elementary School, which won the Chase Charlie School Challenge in 2009 and 2010.
These projects were supported by ING Run for Something Better and Youth Service America.
